Eintracht midfielder Filip Kostic was named the best player in the Europa League in the 2021-22 season. The Serb helped the German team win the European trophy for the first time in 42 years.
Kostic gave a productive pass in the final match of the tournament against Rangers (1: 1, penalty 5: 4). In total, during the season in the Europa League, the Serb scored three goals and gave six assists in 12 matches.
Philip also joined the team of the season in the Europa League. In addition to the Serb, the symbolic team included three other representatives of Eintracht: Kevin Trapp, Martin Ginteregger and Rafael Borre.
This season, Kostych has played 43 games for Eintrach in all competitions, scoring seven goals and giving 15 assists.
Eintracht took 11th place in the Bundesliga, but thanks to the victory in the Europa League won a direct ticket to the group round of the Champions League.
